This Tree of Life is a one-off piece and it is inspired by the folk traditional Arbol de la Vida (Tree of Life).  It was made to enhance and brighten up your walls; it can be hung directly on to the wall or framed.

Arbol de la Vida or Tree of Life is traditionally a hand coiled pottery sculpture depicting the biblical Adam and Eve with the tempting Serpent but the themes have evolved and today is common to find trees about various subjects such as Day of the Dead and other forms of Folk Art from Mexico.

I hand drew the design and painted this design on to cardboard offcuts with floral elements like the 4 Petal Daisy, the yellow Black Eyed Flower Girl and bright royal blue polka dots and leaves.

Materials: cardboard, acrylic paint and wire.

Dimensions: 27 cm x 30 cm approximately.
